Welcome to the Israel Homeschool information website.  Most of the information on this website is presented through the lens of the Jewish Community.  Israel separates public schools into different divisions, so when you applying to homeschooling, you are going to register as a homeschooler in that division.

It boils down to what the graduation requirements, and each group has a different set of requirements.  When you register for Homeschooling, you need to say which division you are registering for.

• Jewish
• Arabic
• Druze
• Bedouin
• Circassian
• Christian

Although the application process is the same, when you fill out the application online, you have to state which area you are applying to.

In terms of curriculum, for secular, the subjects are the same.

For religious, Muslims are expected to learn about the Muslim religion, Christians are expected to learn about Christianity.  You get the idea.  So, in Israel, you really need to be connected with a group for your specific religion in order to make sure that you are fully learning what is required to pass your Bagrut in this area.
